At the turn of twenty-second century, prisons are obsolete. Those who commit crimes are no longer punished, but are instead rehabilitated in cities that are isolated from civilization. Basic needs are met—food, shelter, clothing.
New Hope is such a city.
But life in this city is no paradise. There are no laws in New Hope. None whatsoever.
The allure of this lawless society entices those who have not commit crimes to enjoy a life free from rules in a a dedicated section of New Hope, separate from criminals—a vacation-like area called The Island of the Rich.
Dylan arrives unexpectedly in New Hope and is forced to deal with strange situations. He discovers how this strange society works and who really controls The Island of the Rich.
