Spend Christmas in a castle, they said.

It’ll be fun, they said.

Instead, I got snowed in with the owner.

Mountain-men move the F over.

I was supposed to have the perfect girly weekend in a gorgeous castle… matching pyjamas, copious amounts of Prosecco, and not a c**k in sight.

Instead, I’m stuck here with Lewis McCulloch.

Eight years ago, he was the Christmas present my teenage-self dreamed of.

But that was then.

Now, he’s all grown up. Cocky. Arrogant. Demanding. So gorgeous it pisses me off. He’s everything I hate in a man, even if he looks like everything I want.

Now I’m stuck alone in the castle with him. No heat. No power. No Prosecco. He makes the Grinch look like a christmas fairy, if the Grinch could start a fire with his grouchy stare.

Fortunately, I reckon I’m everything he hates about women, too.

But I’ll give him one thing, and one thing only…

The boy sure is good with his hands.

This isn’t the weekend I signed up for… but maybe it’s the weekend I need.
