The Alien Colony

For Robin, it has been a perfectly fine, normal day. He starts his day as usual. He lives in an apartment. He is still single. It all starts when he is drinking his morning coffee, while writing the newest chapter of his upcoming novel. First the power goes down. Then, all the electronic equipment dies. Then comes the screams from the neighborhood. He goes outside, only to witness a horrific scene that has been progressing on the streets. Hundreds of people are flying up, into the flying saucers, through a stream of blue light. The invasion has begun!
