When Lexie Stanley moved to Vernon Hills, she thought the small town was quiet and charming with its collection of shops and houses. She had a promising job and a group of great friends. Her future seemed bright and promising, but that was not to be.

Following the demolition of the Stratford Theatre, a powerful curse by William Shakespeare is unleashed on Vernon Hills. Lexie must stop the curse before the town becomes a stage and the residents of Vernon Hills become characters from Shakespeare’s plays.
