Raythen was a professional non-player character in ultra-realistic virtual combat games, spending most of his waking life battling players with both modern and ancient weapons.

Then one day, while travelling to meet his online girlfriend for the first time in the flesh, he discovers that someone is trying to kill him, and he has to use all the skills he’s learned in virtual combat to stay alive.
