When Clara reads a story from Hickstrom’s Book of Fairy Tales called The Baron Finds Happiness, she finds herself thrown back in time to England’s Regency era, arriving at Alvord Castle.

Roger breathes a sigh of relief, certain in the knowledge that she is not meant for him since he is not a baron. Clara wants only to return home. She is not Cinderella, and life is not a fairy tale. Barons don’t marry maids...not in real life, do they?
