Sofia and Cirrus must decide what to do when an enormous dragon befouls the name of the Crystal Spires clan. Meanwhile, the new paladin princess must deal with a recurring bug infestation and a new ally’s betrayal.

In the past, Kemuri deals with the murder of someone he cares about, possibly by the Revelation. He must also respond when someone from Nyneeve’s homeland tries to take her son from his care without permission.

How will their actions, both past and present, affect the greater machinations of their enemies? And how many of those enemies are the same no matter the time?
