A spectacular meteor shower over Canada brings amazement and chaos in equal measure, as remote towns are cut off and power lines are downed. A dinosaur emerges from the confusion to find mankind unprepared. Setting out on a killing spree, the huge monster soon finds its way on a collision course with Calgary. With a million tourists in the city for the annual Stampede, can anything stop it?

Drawn together by a prehistoric enemy, two brothers in the police are forced into action as the dinosaur sets out on a destructive rampage. But if bullets don’t work, what chance do they have? The Calgary Stampede faces its darkest hour unless they can find a way to defeat the brutal beast.
