Whilst sitting in her friends’ car on their driveway one Sunday morning, Maggie Thomas is shot at point blank range. The police conclude that since only a handful of people even knew that she would be in the UK that day, let alone sitting in Gil and Bridget Honeyman’s driveway, it must be Bridget who was the intended target.
