Marriage counselors have long known that there are two things in life that tear marriages apart: adultery, and the death of a child. Andrea and Jerry Porter have been true to each other for almost twenty-five years, so adultery is not a factor in their failing marriage. But two years before, they lost their son, and the marriage has been spiraling downhill ever since. And then the unexpected happens. Andrea and Jerry find themselves trapped together on a luxury cruise neither want—a twenty-fifth anniversary gift from their three grown daughters.
