[Lord of the Isles 07] • The Fortress of Glass

King Garric's Royal Progression lands with his consort Liane, his sister Sharina, her large beloved Cashel, his sister Ilna, and her adopted child Merota and mate, pirate Chalcus. Two meteors divide the group. One revives the dead ruler Cervoran, who claims only he can defeat the Green Woman. She lands in the sea, sends hellplants and a glass castle marching landward.

Garric appears naked among Coerli, cat-men who eat raw humans. Sharina, new regent, is left behind with kindly old witch Tectoris. Cervoran appoints magic guides who direct Cashel and Cervoran's son Protas through dangerous worlds. Ilna follows her family, sent by Cervoran into a tapestry maze. All have to fight their way to home and safety.
