Same Self

Due to the horrors, he witnesses in the conflicts of the past; a time-traveling soldier escapes to the old west in order to live as far away as possible from a global conflict that erupts in 2031. Fearing that the technology he used to travel back in time could be lost; the same organization who employed him must now send someone after him. However, in order to locate this man in the year 1887; they will need to enlist the help of someone who not only possesses similar skills but also knows him better than anyone and even thinks like him. Who better than himself?

Same Self tells the story of the second Todd York, who is found fighting in the future conflict his previous self so rigorously tried to prevent. Todd’s life is saved by this secretive organization, and in return, he must travel to the 19th century American west to seek out his original self. Todd now finds himself in an advanced facility located in the North Pole; populated with young scientists, a mysterious CIA operative, and a beautiful historian whom Todd begins to suspect may have been in love with his original self. Todd will embark on a journey through time, where he will encounter a cold-blooded version of himself he never thought could have existed, and who he fears he may soon become.
