Life is tough for the former circus workers in Top Town, but especially so at Christmas. Rex Koko is doing his part for the needy by ringing a bell on the corner in a Santa get-up. Yet when his red kettle is filched, he has to get it back or go down in history as the reincarnation of Scrooge. His pursuit leads him to a sick friend, a greedy landlord, a couple dozen well-meaning monkeys, and a lesson on the redemptive power of charity.

And if that sounds too ponderous and message-heavy, also included is some gratuitous poop-flinging.

All proceeds from this hilarious short holiday tale will be donated to Chicago Lights, which provides hope and opportunity to the city's children, youth, and adults who face the challenges of poverty through tutoring, mental health services, and more.
