Fromm the outside, Jasen and Maddie Turner appear to have it all. Despite injuries Jasen sustained in combat, their marriage seems to be as solid as ever. Looks can be deceiving.

Jasen always wanted a family of his own. When he met the beautiful Maddie, he knew right way he wanted to build that family with her. After the birth of their daughter, Lily, life was perfect, but life took a turn when his injuries left him paralyzed and helpless to protect and provide for them.

Maddie loves the life they have built together, and put all her efforts into supporting Jasen’s recovery, knowing he is strong enough to walk again. She knows he feels helpless to protect them, and she hides her own suffering to protect him.

Will Maddie be strong enough to face obstacles on her own? Will Jasen be able to pull himself together to walk any distance for his family?
