What do you do when you’re The Other Woman, and your rival is younger and prettier than you are?

Althea Jameson, a young widow, has no desire to marry again. After her difficult marriage, she prizes her independence, and her friendship with Jeremy, the Viscount Stanton. It is only when his engagement to another woman is announced that she realizes she loves him.
