Brian Butler is a Fixer for the Eridani Government. Fixers are allowed to kill, bomb, set on fire anything that stands in the way. Fixer's more common title is Special Agent.On Brian Butler's inaugural mission he has to clean up the illegal gold mines, track a criminal to his boss. Find the smelter, and destroy everything. Oh and if he could, could he steal back over a million ounces of gold and return it to Eridani. He has to do this on the most populous world among the 29 colony worlds, which means tuxedoes, gambling, and even seducing high society women.I guess tougher things are done by Mothers everywhere.This is the first book of the series.
