The Star Ship Apprentice Engineer

Brian is forced into taking a position as an apprentice by his mother, who wants to void her marriage contract with his father. So on his eighteenth birthday says, “You’re a man now you need to be out on your own.” She sends him and his father to the local Star ship engineers and operators union.

Assigned to the Armstrong on a seven year mission of discovery Brian heads out for the unknown. His Journeyman Jack is as hard boiled as they come. “Son when I start telling you something don’t ever tell me you know it, you’re a first year apprentice you don’t know shit,” Jack said.

Brian’s in deep and the ship has only just left Mars. If he fails to make it as an engineer he will spend the rest of the trip as a janitor. Brian’s adventure continues on an untamed world where he fights for survival and the woman he loves. Just when you might believe that life can get no worst an Alien ship is found, but the Aliens are not the problem.
