**HELL UNLEASHED ON HEAVEN**

Noah Reid is the president of a foundation controlling billions. He’s also a quiet killer, willing to take on anyone who steps in the way of those he cares for.

Noah accompanies Master Wu, his aged lifelong mentor, on a final pilgrimage to Heaven, the mystical Kung Fu monastery in the mountains of China where the master learned the Way of the Shaolin—and where the smallest slip can lead to instant death.

But King, son of the ruthless Triad leader Noah stole the funds from to start his foundation, wants the money back. As brutal as his father, King is also a snake master, using them for everything from lunch to spectacular killing. To pressure Noah into returning the dough, he unleashes hell on the travelers, leaving a swath of destruction on land, sea and mountain.

As the body count rises, can Noah save Master Wu or the ancient mystical monastery from this modern evil?

HEAVEN SHATTERED will enthrall even the most jaded of adventure/action thriller fans. The blistering second novel in the bestselling Noah Reid series, this explosive thriller a gritty, unpredictable ride of thrills, twists and surprises, and sure to leave you gasping.

Question and Answer with Wesley Lowe

Q: In  Heaven Shattered, the antagonist is the son of Chin, the villain from Betrayed, the first book in the series. Why the fascination with this sociopath?

WL: I love family sagas. The Godfather. Star Wars… Chin was a terrible father but his kids had a love/hate fascination with him. For King, it’s all about the money and he will do anything to recover the illicit loot that is rightfully his. Even if he has to deal with his father.

**Q: How accurate are the descriptions in China?

**

WL: I’ve had a firsthand view of China’s transformation from a dreary Communist country to a vibrant contemporary nation. I’ve hiked the mystic mountains, traveled from rural village to ancient cities to thriving metropolises. Even if something is fictitious, it is grounded in actuality.

**Q: Is there a particular hero that Noah is modeled after?

**

WL: While you see the influences of Robert Ludlum’s Jason Bourne, Vince Flynn’s Mitch Rapp and James Patterson’s Alex Cross, unlike them, Noah has never used a gun. And, even though Noah is a martial arts master, Bruce Lee was not the basis for Noah either.

That’s what I loved about him. Captain America was real, a supremely trained athlete, tumbling and somersaulting through martial arts, punching and throwing that crazy shield.

He was almost normal, someone that I could possibly be…almost.. sort of… well, uh….
