The first class starts with a journal from one of the people who would reform New Idaho into a learning center for the world.

As war looms on the horizon for New Idaho, a young scarred Samurai named Relonor must take the field to save her people. Follow Relonor as she relives her past in the moment of taking the field and the choices which have led her to protect her people.

Vadoma is a Romani healer. She was in the right place at the right time to help save Relonor when she gains a grievous wound after a challenge to a duel from a suitor. Little does she know that becoming friends with this intriguing woman will blur the lines between friendship and love. Can she get that close to Relonor without falling in love?
