Too Much, Too Soon?

Richard House argues that young children are being harmed because of misguided government early years policies, as implemented by the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS). He says that mandatory, ‘Early Learning Goals’ have no evidence base, and they ignore children’s subtle development needs and diverse learning readiness. ’. ‘Too Much Too Soon?' aims to positively influence the government’s current review of early years policy with evidence based recommendations from research and good practice from right across the early years field.
