Eve Richards may have been born in a small town, but she's made all the sacrifices expected to become a rising corporate executive in the big city. It's been years since she could return to Masterson, Texas, for more than a quick fly-in on Saturday, fly-out on Sunday type of visit. This December is different. Her grandmother needs help running the family bakery, so Eve is using her weeks of accrued vacation to go home and count cookies instead of corporate cash.
