Brutal Love

In what was supposed to be the prime of her life, Madison Page instead finds herself swimming in a sea of struggle and loss. Her once-promising writing career is over, her girlfriend of 12 years has abandoned her for another woman, she’s living in her car on the unforgiving streets of Los Angeles, all while battling daily demands and denigrations from her abusive mother and older half-sister.

Running out of money and with nowhere to go, Madison embarks on a cross-country journey to her mother’s home and memories she would rather forget. Along the way, she meets an array of women who, like Madison, are searching for happiness, peace and their own place in the world.
