The first installment in the new Frank Morrison thriller series.

It should’ve been a sweet deal. With his four partners, Frank Morrison has devised a clever plan to hack five banks for ten million dollars, but after they’ve only had time to extract two million from the first bank, the deal goes bad. Morrison is caught and sent behind bars while his partners remain in the shadows.

Fast forward three years. Morrison is released from prison after a full sentence. Thanks to the personal grudge of a law officer, there was no parole for him despite this being his first conviction. He’s now broke but he doesn’t care. He has a carefully prepared plan to get back into business. He’s ready to move on.

But Mike, one of his partners, is not. And Mike has changed. Contrary to Morrison, he no longer hesitates to resort to violence and forces him to revisit their deal gone bad.

When Frank Morrison gets the confirmation that the remaining eight million dollars were discreetly stolen after his own arrest, he turns to his other partners. Did one of them steal the money? As he progresses, Morrison will have to walk a fine line between the law and the partners that used to be his friends. In a new world where violence has become a factor, and the law is not as straight as it seems.
