I’m Mattie Myers, and by now, I should be used to the parade of ghosts at my doorstep. Thanks to my spectral feline companion, Shadow, I’ve become the go-to person for restless spirits seeking closure. But when a new ghost shows up, she’s not just another whisper in the night.

This spirit has a voice—and she’s not shy about using it. With a personality straight out of the 1950s, she’s here to make demands, voice complaints, and critique everything from my wardrobe to my cooking. While I’m eager to help her find peace, I’m also desperate for some peace and quiet.

Once I’ve helped this outspoken ghost move on, maybe I can finally focus on sorting out my own tangled life. I need to make a choice between two men who have each captured a part of my heart, but it’s hard to think straight with a vintage ghost causing a ruckus.

Can I handle this noisy apparition and reclaim my life, or will the ghostly interruptions leave my personal affairs in even more disarray?
