Potters Field

The Roman Empire never fell, Christianity never supplanted the preceding religions, and English feudalism came to seem like a good model for the other nations of the earth. Welcome to the world of Potters Field, probably the richest city in existence but also the most corrupt, where priestesses of Astarte walk past churches of St Mary Magdalene and Satanist thugs try to disrupt pro democracy rallies. Into this town come Dean and Noel, gentlemen who live by their wits and currently on the bones of their arses, blackmailed into becoming law enforcement special operatives after a money making scam went awry. However they may find that their connection to the city goes deeper than they thought, and corruption and greed might not wholly come from the hearts of men.
