Fianna Kelly Versus the Jeebees

A Collection of Steampunk Stories

Collected here for the first time; this book contains all five of Fianna's encounters with the mysterious creatures known as jeebees. It has all of her adventures from the time she leaves home to visit foreign lands until her final confrontation. It is a mixture of Victorian Era steampunk and 1950's monster movies with one large robot added for good measure.

Story 1: Fianna rescues Bradan, the steam-powered automaton, from the jeebees on her way to a firearms competition.

Story 2: A short piece introducing Fianna's cousin Felix, the inventor, and his wife, Mary. Fianna finds out that being the first 'booth babe' can be stressful.

Story 3: Fianna and Bradan join a fledgling intelligence gathering organization that is so new it hasn't thought of catchy codenames or developed interesting gadgets. In steampunk fashion, they provide an airship for her to make the trip across the North Sea.

Story 4: Just investigating past jeebee activities proves to be dangerous for Fianna and her friends.

Story 5: Sometimes one world-class sharpshooter is not enough. When Felix demonstrates his new invention, all the rules change.

If you like your steampunk with more science fiction and less fantasy, this is your book.

It is also 25% funnier and 75% more believable than the average steampunk novel. Come along and experience the wonders of the 1880's for the first time through Fianna's eyes where every day is filled with surprises.

Recommended for mature readers only because 'women bearing lethal weapons' is not a subject for young children.

Disclaimers: No matter how I make it sound, this is not an anthology of previously published works. It most certainly is not one of those collections of tales shoved into one eBook without any formatting or proofreading. However, this is my first published work, so please be gentle.
