Documentary filmmaker and journalist Bjorn Cederberg debut with a book about the East German secret police Stasi activities, and offshoots of Sweden. Five years of research in the Stasi archives is the basis for the book and we get a glimpse of what happened behind "closed doors" during the Cold War. Was the Swedish politicians, journalists and companies that cooperated with the East Germans? What information had access to the Stasi? There were other irregularities? Björn Cederberg seeking truths and moves between Sweden and Berlin. Some questions we may answer, some not. Many archives have been destroyed, others have seized the CIA. The book depicts how people are affected by living in a tipping society where you can not trust anyone. Björn Cederberg is the first Swedish gone through such acts as this thoroughly. We follow the Bear in the process of how he "digs" down in the archive like an archaeological dig. In addition, he interviewed several of the heads of the spy who operated on the East German embassy in Stockholm on 70 - and 80's. The result is a unique insight into how the Stasi worked and how they trained spies and found the "informers" in the large Swedish companies such as Asea, Stora Kopparberg and Bofors. Björn Cederberg is present in the text and convey a sense of betrayal and paranoia as a result of monitoring, surveillance and counter-espionage. He talks about when he himself was deceived, and when he finds a Stasi file on himself. He depicts the human stories and adds new details about including Palme murder and Bofors affair
