Vicky Archer lost everything – her movie career, her crime boss meal ticket, her boxer lover, even her son – when she was forced to flee the harbor village of Mamaroneck, New York. Three years later, Vicky’s future is as bleak and isolating as the jagged scar on her face. Working the Midwest pro wrestling circuit as Tonda The Jungle Queen, Vicky is a job girl, ending every orchestrated match flat on her back, staring up at the house lights.

Mexico City, 1956...Sent south of the border with a small contingent of other wrestlers, Vicky finds something special in Daniel, a young luchador on the rise. Daniel respects what Vicky does in the ring and encourages her to embrace the philosophy of lucha libre. But forces from Vicky’s past are fast catching up with her. As events collide in Mexico City, Vicky has one shot at a redemption she never thought possible, but can she be a true luchadora or is she just another job girl, going down for her last fall?
