A strange object crashes in a field behind the Half Moon Inn. Soon after, two barmaids vanish without a trace, drawing the attention of local reporter Jan Barnes.

Increasingly strange events lead Jan to team up with enigmatic paranormal investigator Gregory Houseman. Seeking answers, the two enter a disturbing world of government conspiracy and terrifying forces beyond their comprehension.
