When the impossible innerworld plunged into darkness, Liam fell to his knees with a gasp, his hands groping. The road was still there, warm and solid beneath his palms, but he was completely and utterly blind.

Liam is stuck in a place he can barely comprehend. He keeps his eyes to the ground, because looking up makes him dizzy. He'd found no help at the abandoned village in the middle of the rolling countryside. If anything, he'd left even more confused. The people there were odd. Fake , somehow, like androids.
