Lilah is a shoo-in as valedictorian of her class. Kyler is the star quarterback. Their "perfect" worlds collide when she becomes his tutor.

Although stubborn, these two characters seemingly have it all made. Their friends certainly seem to think so. Grades come easy for her and she has her choice of college. The combination of his talent as an athlete and charismatic personality make him one of the most popular kids in school. But both of them have secrets and scars that they struggle with just like everybody else, even if they try to pretend otherwise.

Their two big egos clash as Lilah and Kyler are forced to spend time together. Can they find anything in common in their imperfect and messy lives?
