[Broclington 03] • Second Chances at the Little Village Sanctuary

When social media star Rick Finnegan’s drunken antics leave a café in the tiny village of Broclington damaged, he’s sentenced to community service. He must give back to the villagers he upset.

Rick’s sent to the Little Village Sanctuary, a haven for injured and neglected animals, run by the feisty and fiercely independent, Angela Turner.

Angela does not want Rick in her sanctuary. He’s late on his first day, and she’s sure he cares more about his appearance and online followers than getting his hands dirty.

But whilst Angela might not like Rick, the animals adore him. Working together nursing an unloved parrot called Mallow and reassuring Ernie, the sanctuary’s resident donkey, their shared passion for animals quickly turns into an unexpected chemistry.

As Angela and Rick become closer they realise they both have a lot to learn about redemption — and love.

And perhaps second chances can be found in the most unexpected places.
