I used to think that true love was like Santa Claus.

*As in, make believe.*

That stockings were for peeling off.

*Not filling up.*

And that stuffing . . . Well, I’m sure you see where I’m going with that.

But this Christmas everything’s changing.

We’re still getting naughty under the mistletoe.

Bells are still being jingled a-plenty.

And there’s heaps of the white stuff around.

But this Christmas we’re finding the best gifts aren’t pulled from Santa’s sack.

*Or found under the tree.*
