Werekynd - Beasts of the Tanglewild

The Werekynd are a dying breed. Life in the mercenary war packs is cheap, and the man-beasts have been hunted almost to extinction by the human rulers of the Protectorates. Even the ancient forests of the Tanglewild, once the werekynd heartlands, are now under threat.

Ulthric, a young werekynd pup only just grown to pack membership, finds himself caught between the humans and his own kin when he becomes the unwitting saviour of a family of defenceless Protectorate serfs. Cast out of his pack, he is the last hope for those seeking peace between man and man-beast. It falls to him and his growing band of followers – human and non-human alike – to resist the machinations and conflicts orchestrated by the Protectorate dukes, and tear down the corrupt regime keeping man and half-man at each other’s throats.

But with his own former pack now eager his for blood, and the Beast Within straining to be free, can young Ulthric see justice done before death catches up with him?
