This is the original Italian version (1889) of the novel Nella nebbia (In the Fog), written by Bruno Sperani, which was the male pen name of female Italian writer Beatriz Sperani.
Bruno Sperani, ossia Vincenza (Beatrice) Speraz sono entrambi pseudonimi di Vincenza Pleti Rosic Pare-Spèran. Nata in Dalmazia nel 1839, il 24 di luglio, veniva chiamata Beatrice (ed anche Bice).
