Life Under Nazi Occupation

The Nazis planned to conquer the world with the aid of their Axis allies, in order to strip the defeated nations of their treasures, industry and natural resources, to restore German's pride and power and to establish a New Order in Europe. This is the story of what it felt like to come under Nazi rule - in France, the Netherlands, Poland, Italy and all the other occupied countries of Europe - to be brought to heel by bribery and brutality, rape and torture, inducement and intimidation as the Germans carried out their vile policies of rounding up political opponents, Jews and other 'enemies of the Reich', culminating in their extermination.
