Only the good die young, but I’ve never been good. I didn’t become the highest-paid model in the world by following the rules. I do what I want and apologize for nothing.

However, every vice has its price, and a tragic mistake forces me back to the one place I swore I’d never return and the boy I abandoned. We met in high school, but we were far from sweethearts. We came from two different worlds. Loving me was the only thing we had in common.

I warned him I’d ruin him. It’s not my fault he didn’t listen.

Seven years ago, Shiloh West was my world. I sacrificed my future for her and then spent every waking moment hating her for it. I’ve followed her train wreck of a career, waiting for her inevitable fall from grace. It’s poetic that a judge has court ordered her back to town and under my control. 

I suppose a better man would take the high road. I'm not a better man, thanks to her. She thinks she can still bat her eyes and I’ll crumble at her feet. Think again.
