One More Dawn

It’s late, the music in the club is **loud** and the alcohol in your blood is making the rhythm pound through your chest.

You don’t hear the first scream, but as the music cuts out your half-deafened ears are bombarded by the **fear** of your fellow patrons.

Over the heads of the crowd you see *things*.

They look like **beautiful people** , but move like **wild animals**. You witness the brutal carnage they cause, blood and gore hanging on the air like mist.

You’re pressed in on all sides, wheat waiting for the **reaper**.
