[The Shattered Chronicles / The Others 12] • Unending

I began life mated to the ruler of a planet and for thousands of years I knew his love and devotion. Then I volunteered to lead an expedition to a distant world, one in its infancy.

Over countless centuries, I spent many lifetimes on planet Earth, shedding my physical mantel at will, always emerging again in a relationship with the same two men, men I'd known and loved since I left my home world a millennia ago.

There came a time when I lost my memories of who I was then. We all did. And when we were incarnated again in the 21st century on Earth, we had no clue of our origins. Now we do. We understand who we are, and because we do, we must return home.

But first there are some loose ends to tie up and that might be a little trickier than imagined. Still, will luck, my adventure here on Earth with finalize with satisfaction and the chance to finally go home.
