We are not alone; there is more to what is happening around us than just what we can experience with our senses. Amanda has always been carefree, trusting everyone around her, and embracing a wonderful life. She is newly engaged and has led a sheltered and safe existence until an electrical storm and the raging seas of the Bermuda Triangle becomes her portal into another dimension named Tuala.

Petre, a master deceptor of Tuala, is cunning and controlling who easily takes advantage of others. Finding Amanda, who has amnesia, has been the highlight of his existence. He revels in keeping her feeling isolated, while he abuses her physically and mentally aboard his water craft.

As her memory slowly returns and after coming to terms with the idea she is no longer on Earth, Amanda must risk her life by jumping into the ocean to escape Petre’s clutches. She shifts into survival mode, and her luck returns when she falls into the path of another person, Barla, who has been displaced by accident in this other world. Barla and her husband, Ahn, teach her the social mannerisms to blend in, for discovery could mean captivity by the Elders of Tuala.

When Petre’s search for her increases, it becomes apparent Amanda cannot remain any longer with Barla and Ahn. Arrangements are made for her to be moved inland with Barla’s friends, Bryon and Alena. When Amanda meets them, she realizes they are busy with their community, outgoing, and willing to take risks to help others.

Bryon and Alena, curious about Amanda’s odd tendencies, want to discover Amanda’s true heritage. At the same time, Amanda is learning from her new hosts all about the telepods, special powers, and unique abilities which the Tualans possess. Alena informs Amanda of her pregnancy, and this shocking revelation elevates her urgency to find a passageway to Earth. If Amanda is unsuccessful, she will be forced to make a life for herself and her child in this strange new land without the support of her family.

The tale takes a curious twist on Earth when Dr. Gascon and Dr. Medin try to extract information from Amanda regarding her missing fiancé, one by force, the other by friendship. Neither doctor is emotionally attached to Amanda, yet Dr. Medin wants to treat her with hypnosis rather than the harmful drugs Dr. Gascon insists are more effective. Realizing Dr. Medin is her only hope of getting out of the psychiatric facility, Amanda chooses to cooperate with the kind doctor in unlocking the truths hidden within her own mind.

This epic adventure explores personal growth, domestic abuse, and cultural discrimination while challenging our reality.
