This textbook is designed for a university course on human–machine interaction, and unlike previous books on this theme, is explicitly conceived as a compact introductory textbook. To supplement the book, there is a website with visual materials, slide sets, and recommended practice exercises. The second edition includes new chapters on human–robot interaction and ubiquitous computing.
