Demons to kill, governments to form, magic items to make, and businesses to run; oh my!

We’ve killed two of the demon generals. Only two remain between us and the demon king. Oh, and thousands of low and medium tier demons, can’t forget those. We need to become friends with the countries on either side of us. Countries that tried to kill us or imprison us. (I’m not sure which is worse)

While James has the power to force social and economic change in his kingdom, he must deal with an entitled princess, greedy nobles, and their politics. James finds himself overwhelmed and overworked as he tries to create a complete system of government that is better and more resistant to corruption than the one he lived in back on Earth. No big deal, right?

With James’s power solidified and the final conflict drawing near, doubts surface. Will he get to enjoy those he loves and all he’s built once the demon king is vanquished?
