After what seemed a lifetime of struggle and up-hill climbing, Lacey now held the title of the worlds' most loved soap opera star, regrettably not what she dreamed of since a child. Although the majority of the populace considered her the most striking, beautiful woman with a model perfect figure, the possibility of ever becoming an academy award-winning movie star was fading. She felt stuck in a whirlpool with no way out, discouraged and hopeless, a state when depression creeps in and claims its victims. Convinced she was that she had made all the wrong choices. An invitation to the reopening of the Green Peaks Lodge in the Adirondacks of New York was luring her, a place of solace that touched her heart and embedded fond memories years ago, possibly an opportunity to re-organize her priorities. If she accepted, she risked, breaking her contract, a possible lawsuit that would cost her a fortune and disappointing those important to her previous success. At the last minute, her best friend Alberto finally convinces her to take that risk, one that would alter her life forever.
