Do you have a child? Or do you ever imagine yourself having a child? Can you imagine losing that child and feeling responsible? It is perhaps the most devastating, life changing event I can think of. I have not lost one and mine are now adults, but I remember thinking if I ever lost mine it I would never recover.
This story is David Wright's brainchild with Sean Platt and it is about that devastation of a man losing his child. He has blocked the incident out of his mind. He knows he lost a child through an accident but he does not remember the events leading up to it or the event itself. His journey is fraught with mind fields he throws in his way.
What we hear about is one story and then we learn the real story is much different.
This is a very well written story, we can feel this man's pain as he searches to recover, to find answers that are hidden to him.
I was given a copy of this book for an honest review.
