When the call center she works at is overwhelmed by an army of zombies, Sheila Noyce finds herself stranded on the far side of Louisville, Kentucky from the home where she left her husband and daughter earlier that morning. Yet even if she can somehow make her way back to them, and even if her family is still alive -- how can they hope to survive, in a city that is rapidly becoming an open urban grave filled with screaming hordes of the ravenous dead?

As civilization crumbles and hordes of screaming, voracious zombies turn Derby City into an open urban grave, a small group of average, everyday people must band together to survive.
