Professor Karl Lehman, a member of an elite international think tank of Medical Experts (The KOO) is murdered in a road tunnel in Zurich. He was about to launch iDrug, a game-changing therapy to counter the global threat of antibiotic resistance of Superbugs.

Born on the wrong side of the tracks, Henri Lazare, a senior executive in a New York private Equity Company secretly controls large investments funded by the Mob. The company holds huge positions in international drug stocks. Recognising iDrug as a major threat, he employs his crime family connections to deal with the threat.

Lurking in the background, Zoran Bartoch, former Hungarian rogue arms dealer, now working with the Russian mafia, operates a sinister fleet of factory ships. Preying on members of the KOO, he learns about iDrug and how it will impact his illicit worldwide business interests. Rumours about operations aboard his ships have MI6 greatly exercised. Soon the NATO alliance is put on ’Red Alert’.

Nicole Lehman, determined to complete her husband’s iDrug launch despite her life being in grave danger, solicits the help of Harry Parker MD, an adventurer, businessman and former associate of Karl Lehman.
