Turpin, an enthusiastic fifteen year old orphan on the streets of Bristork, has finally received his opportunity to prove himself to the feared Shadow Claw. As master assassin's and thieves, the Shadow Claw control the city's underground. Upon being given the daunting task of robbing one of the most powerful men in the city, the ambitious Turpin must then infiltrate the castle. Is this an elaborate test to accept the young thief? Or is there a much more sinister plot unknown to Turpin? "Rise of the Dragon" is the first book to the series "War of the Dragons" which chronicles the end of the age and also part of a much larger book series entitled "Lore," which follows the full history of the planet Ashra.
