Flames of the Fire

She was a fierce spitfire and would protect her family with her life. Her heart raced and she kept staring at the burning building before her. Pure Panic caused her heart to beat faster and Joy ran closer, yelling her sister's name. She heard a toddler crying somewhere and after what seemed like forever, her sister's voice. Joy's heart sank. Alice was still in the house. Where was her sister's husband? Why had the house caught fire? One look was enough. It wouldn't take long before the entire building collapsed.
