This piece is a personal account of the struggles I’ve had throughout my life with unworldly forces. To dance with the devil in the pale moonlight is a dual idiomatic phrase meaning to be sensationalized by one’s own immoral and risky ambitions and one’s evil tendencies.
This book means to shed light on what it is like to experience paranormal phenomena, live through illness and reckon with childhood trauma and is in no way meant to judge anyone else’s views and beliefs. My dance with demons has led me through a very haunted life: haunted by death, by illness, by the afterlife, by ghosts and by demons. The average person goes about their daily life without ever acknowledging or encountering any of the above things, yet, they remain the number one unspoken elephant in society. Every action man engages in and every decision he makes in life comes from an inner fear and knowledge that he owes life a death. Likewise, each person is a collection of their life’s choices.
I’ve learned over the years that there is only one aspect of life that is certain: we all owe a death. I’ve become particularly too close to the later and wish to discuss all the taboo topics that everyone wonders about but never voices for fear of the backlash they would receive from society, and more importantly, the people who are supposed to be closest to them. I know this because I have lived it my whole life. Though I am not a ghost hunter, nor will I ever become one, this tales serves to share my experiences, and to maybe shed some light on how to deal with such things for those who have no one to talk to about their own paranormal experiences. This is just a glimpse into my world…
