Good Neighbors

Stan Zippo wonders where his eighty-three year old neighbor, Zelda Prince, has been for the last six months, and he worries that she's been dead in her bath tub or at the bottom of her stairs. He thinks maybe she's been decaying all this time, and he feels so guilty he asks her Philadelphia lawyer stepson to send a key. Stan goes into Zelda's home in search of her, and he solves the mystery of where's she's been. But this is not good for Stan. Good Neighbors is a creepy little short story fueled by guilt and regret.
